I’m a nature-loving, horse riding, beekeeping writer working on my third novel. In 2009 I completed my first full-length novel, “What You Don’t Know Won’t Hurt.’ With it I got representation from Caroline Hardman, Hardman and Swainson Literacy Agency, but unfortunately no cigar when when it came to a publishing deal. In 2013 I was lucky enough to receive an SIAP award from the Arts Council Of Northern Ireland to research and start my second novel. Now, inspired by my bees, I’m writing ‘Sixteen Days’ and hoping it’s a case of third time lucky! This blog is about the trials and tribulations I experience trying to get published while bringing up two boys, two dogs, two ponies, approx one hundred and eighty thousand bees and (hopefully ) staying sane.
